01 · On the board

Your menu. Your prices.

A menu board shows your menu or price list with a featured item beside it, in your colors, type and photos. When something changes, you email it, and the board changes once you approve the proof.

  • Prices that match the register

Send new prices as the PDF menu you print, a photo of it, or a list in an email. New prices across all your boards are one minor change, and the proof shows them before anything goes up.

  • Specials on the dates you name

Write “Friday through Sunday” or “the week of Thanksgiving,” the way you’d say it. The proof spells out the exact dates, so you can catch a mix-up before anything runs.

  • By the counter or in the window

Each screen has its own link, so the board above the counter and the screen by the door can show different things. Wide or tall, light or dark, with a clock or a QR code.

03 · Questions

Menu board questions.

Something else? Email hello@johnscreekscreens.com.

What do I need for a menu board?

A TV with a modern web browser and an internet connection. Tablets and computers work too. No browser on your TV? Plug in a device of your own that has one, or we can add our player for $300 setup a screen. Each board is a link: open it on the screen, and it plays.

Can I change prices on all my boards at once?

Yes. New prices across all your menu boards are one minor change, and the proof shows each board before anything goes up.

Can one board show something different from the others?

Yes. Each screen has its own link. Say which one, like “the board by the register,” and every proof names the screen the change is for.

Can the board show photos of our food?

Yes. Send phone photos of your plates. If a photo won’t read well on a screen, Albus will tell you.

How long does a change take?

You can email any time, day or night, from anywhere, and Albus works around the clock. Every change gets a proof first, and anything Albus passes to Jeremy waits for him, so send a dated special early enough to check the proof.

What does it cost?

$10 a month for each screen, with no minimum number of screens. Setup is $150 for each location where your TVs have a web browser, built in or on a device of yours, or $300 for each screen where we add our player, which includes the software setup, so there’s no $150 on top. Each screen includes 1 major change and up to 100 minor changes a month, shared across your screens. A new special is a major change; new prices or a sold-out item are minor. Want us to supply the TVs too? Contact us for a turnkey quote. See everything that’s included.
